Royal Decree 893/2015 of October 2, 2015 reinforces this idea: “it has been specified, on the one hand, that these exceptional circumstances concur in Sephardim originating in Spain who, proving their status as such and their special relationship with Spain, request Spanish nationality as of the aforementioned date ”.

Documentation

  • Literal birth certificate, legalized or apostilled, and where appropriate, translated.
  • Criminal record certificate from the country of origin legalized and translated (only for those over 18 years of age)
  • Criminal record certificate from the Central Registry of Prisoners in the case of residents in Spain over 18 years of age.
  • Original legalized or apostilled marriage certificate and, where appropriate, translated.
